As an organisational entity with 2,100 civil servants, the municipality Breda (the Netherlands) has been going through a process of change. Its departments are merged and reorganised between, a new organisational structure is implemented and a shared services centre has been set up. The aim is to make the municipality more effective at dealing with complex legislation, digitalisation, social issues, internationalisation and a networked society. Using the leadership framework that has been prepared by Breda, Krauthammer develops a programme that aims to instil a facilitative (coaching) style of leadership.
