Day 1 - Become an HR Business Partner

  • Understanding and establishing your HR position

Day 2 - Become recognised by operational staff

  • Outlining and championing an HR project
  • Uniting, motivating and gaining support for a project
  • Being constructive when confronted with criticisms such as “your subjects are too far off the ground”

Day 3: Strengthen HR policy in difficult situations

  • Conducting a challenging personal meeting (contract termination, redundancy, etc.)
  • Conducting a group negotiation (staff representatives’ organisation, social partners, health and safety committee, etc.)
  • Refocusing operational departments so that they show the proper respect for HR policy

Day 4: Support over time

  • Monitoring the performance of HR projects
  • “Being available, not a pushover”: being able to say NO effectively
