About

Maaike grew up in the middle of a family-run hotel business. This fostered her passion for people and dealing with customers at an early age. It also kick-started her career in the hotel industry. 

Before joining Krauthammer, she gained many years of sales and management experience in leading hotel companies worldwide. In this international and highly customer-oriented environment, Maaike gained extensive intercultural leadership experience and always strives to make the most of potential. 

Maaike has lived and worked in several countries around the world. These diverse and international experiences have made her an extremely open-minded person who is highly sensitive to cultural differences. With her empathic ability, she can easily connect with people at all levels. With her people development skills, she recognises and cultivates the potential in others. With her enthusiasm and positive approach, she can inspire and motivate others to action.
